Oxygenated blood travels from the lungs back to the heart via the pulmonary vein.
Blood drops from left atrium into left Ventricle and is pumped via aorta to the rest of the blood.
Oxygen gets dropped off by the muscles and carbon dioxide gets picked up.
The blood is now deoxygenated as the o2 has been used by the muscles. Blood travels back to the ra via the vena cava.
Deoxygenated blood needs to become oxygenated so is pumped via Right Ventricle through the pulmonary artery to the lungs where it is picked up oxygen.
